Ranked as one of the top 9-hole courses in the world, the seaside par 36 course at Weekapaug Golf Club features tight fairways, well-placed hazards, native fescue and challenging greens. Originally designed by course architect Philip Wogan and original owner Sprocky Urso in 1967, the course's many recent improvements include renovated tee grounds, more than 40 Scottish-style bunkers and an open links-style landscape.
Local Knowledge (Play Tips)
A links-style course, Weekapaug plays just over 3,200 yards from the championship tees. Players are rewarded for proper club selection and shot accuracy when navigating the intricate hazards and environmental tests of the seaside locale. Signature hole #4 is a true test of ability, with the fairway and green running parallel to the shoreline.
Tournaments & Events
Members appreciate a refreshingly walkable course, offering a variety of play seven days a week, from regular Saturday foursomes to competitive tournaments, weekly twilight golf and signature golf events. Members are able to host guests in all three seasons of the New England golf calendar.
Practice and Instruction
Members enjoy practice areas for driving, short game, putting, and bunker play. The Club's PGA professional staff offer group or private instruction, as well as clinics for all ages and playing abilities. Younger golfers are encouraged to participate in our annual junior golf clinics and camps.
