Roger stumbled into the golf business 35 years ago and has never looked back. Raised in Nebraska, with its distance horizons, Roger has taken the long view throughout his career. Working at tiny golf clubs, as well as large family country clubs has provided him with a wide range of experience, keeping him in tune with the constantly changing nature of private clubs. Those clubs include Firethorn Golf Club, Sand Hills Golf Club in Nebraska, Desert Forest Golf Club in Arizona, Burning Tree Country Club in Greenwich, CT and most recently Montclair Golf Club in New Jersey. Roger also worked on the restoration of the Kabul Golf Club in Afghanistan. Deb Bacon, also from Nebraska, has extensive experience in the golf business. She most recently managed the Golf Shop at Alpine Country Club in New Jersey. Roger and Deb have a home in Arizona. They have happily found that Rhode Island fits like an old glove.
